The FEI/WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses got underway in Lanaken, Belgium, this morning. A total of thirty-six Irish-bred horses will contest the championship across the Five, Six and Seven Year Old divisions.
In addition to these thirty-six young Irish showjumping horses, a further two Irish-breds compete in the Belgian Championships, which began yesterday (Wednesday) - Akarad Hero Z & Catwalk Harry.
Congratulation to each of these horse’s breeders, and to all those that have been involved in their production to date. Best of luck to each of their riders and owners for the coming days. Looking forward to cheering on our Irish horses and Irish riders in the finals on Sunday.
