It’s all about the mare…
Our breeding programme on Quarryfield Farm, in the north west of Ireland, focuses on a core group of mares of high genetic merit. All of these mares are very closely related to top level international showjumpers and a number of our mares have performed at a high level in the sport themselves.
Our long-term focus at Quarryfield is to see the products of our breeding programme succeed in top level showjumping. I believe that the exceptional horses of tomorrow will come from the exceptional mares and marelines of today. It is in following this philosophy that I continue to invest my time and energy into building a blue-blooded broodmare collection.
